    There is also a resilience angle. Multi-cluster setups enable built-in redundancy and disaster recovery. If one cluster fails, workloads can shift to another. This is critical for high-availability applications.

    Another practical benefit is cost control and optimization. Organizations can place workloads where they make the most sense, balancing performance, compliance, and cost without being locked into a single environment.

    The underlying shift is this: infrastructure is no longer centralized. It is distributed by design. Multi-cluster OpenShift is simply the operational model that matches that reality.
