The first issue is keeping data consistent while it moves. Migrating OpenShift applications to AWS means moving application state, configurations and dependencies along with the data, and any inconsistency can break the application afterwards. Integrated data protection gives you point in time snapshots, so you can roll back or retry without corruption.

The second is pressure on downtime. Migration windows are often tight, and businesses cannot afford long outages. Data protection tools make fast rollback and recovery possible, which lowers the risk and shortens downtime when problems occur.
